Our short-term accommodation (STA) and respite (STR) house in Boolaroo is a genuine home, not an institution. Think beautifully decorated bedrooms, shared meals, activities, new friendships and warm overnight support from people who truly care.
Whether it is a single night, a weekend or a longer stay, we plan it around what works for your family, and we welcome guests with high physical-support needs.

Two queen bedrooms plus a room with two king singles, each with side tables, reading lights and a chest of drawers.

A roll-in shower, grab rails and a raised toilet so guests with high physical-support needs are welcome.
Large open kitchen
A bright kitchen with a prep island bench, perfect for cooking together and building life skills.
Spacious lounge & dining
A modern, homely lounge and dining room with a feature fireplace to relax and socialise.
Full laundry & second toilet
A complete laundry and a second toilet, so a comfortable stay is easy for everyone.
Supported & connected
Friendly support workers on hand, with accessible transport to outings and activities.

Who respite is for
Respite suits families who need a short break, and young people who would love a change of scene, time with friends and a confidence-building stay away from home. We welcome high physical-support needs, and plan-managed and self-managed participants are all welcome.
